My friend Jody passed through Kelowna on his summer vacation
and stopped in to see my folks. He took a bunch of photos of the now-moved-into-fully-furnished-house.

The door to cover the TV hasn't been finished yet.

Dining area. The chandelier is almost exactly the same as what we had
in the old house.

The old John A. Macdonald chair is now in the main entry, along with 2
oak "hall monsters" that seem like they were designed to fit
there.

The solarium. Mum's and my favourite room. Nice chairs too!

The kitchen...gas range, drawer-freezer in the fridge.

Notice the stairs down to the dock are done.

Love the stone fireplace and the mantle...totally reminds me of the old
house.

The downstairs area....the cabinets look "peach" but they are
actually maple. The photos change the colour a bit.

Downstairs entertainment area. Another fireplace with another nice old
wooden mantle.

Downstairs dining area.

Full kitchen downstairs.

One of the guest bedrooms downstairs.

Downstairs bath.

The second guest bedroom downstairs.

Notice the paved area by the garage, and the paved path to the deck, and
the staircase up to the deck. The lights along the stairs down from the
parking lot have been replaced, and the big concrete wall has been stucco'd
rather than re-wooded with barn wood. Mum's going to plant ivy that will
crawl up the wall.
