Day 2 - Jan 24th 2005 - Downtown Kona - on the waterfront

After the usual scrumptious breakfast by the pool at the Kona Tiki, we headed down to the waterfront in downtown Kona (about a 5 minute drive from the Kona Tiki).

This is the mortuary area for King Kamehameha, right on the waterfront in downtown Kona.

The trees are pretty amazing. The second show is me by a mangrove tree. Weird root system on these things.

Then, after we got back to the Hotel, we packed up, checked out of the Kona Tiki and moved to Leilani's Suite in Puako.
