After opening presents, having Christmas breakfast, etc., we all went down to "christen" the new house (the foundation anyways). And then onto our traditional Christmas morning "constitional" that we do every year down the Golden Mile.

This spiral log caught my eye. When some trees grow, they actually grow in a spiral pattern, not just straight up. This spiral would make the tree more flexible to wind storms etc.
