Things to do before I die (Completed items are crossed out):

• Get a good job / career. (may change every 5 years).
• Become a good photographer.
• Get fit.
• Learn to speak Gaelic, Italian, French, German, Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, and Japanese.
• Learn to carve in the Northwest Coast Native style (Haida, Tlingit, etc.)
• Learn to parasail / paraglide (with and without motor-assist).
• Build a solar-powered paraglider.
• Learn at least one martial art.
• Learn to play Jazz piano....again.
• Find and marry the love of my life, and have 2 kids.
• Be independently wealthy by age 45 (from working for someone else anyways...never REALLY retire).
• Die broke.

Places to go / Things to see:

• Go back to New Orleans and experience Mardi Gras.
• See the Grand Canyon, Old Faithful geyser, New York, Arizona.
• Walk on the Great Wall of China.
• Explore New Zealand.
• Explore Hawaii.
• Visit Nicky in Germany.
• Visit Janssens in Belgium.
• Find other Halliseys in Ireland, and see the Giant's Causeway.
• Explore England and Scotland.
• See the Pyramids & Sphinx in Egypt.
• See the Parthenon & Olympia in Greece.
• Visit Andreas in Switzerland.
• Travel across Canada, all parts of it: Back East, the Maritimes, the Rock, the Far North. Visit the big cities, but focus on the smaller towns, and make some friends on my travels.

Material wants:

• Video projector (1000+ lumens, 2000h+ lamp life) for big-screen movies and video games (I'm such a kid!)
• A fast sports car, and a classic car.
• A new computer, preferably a top-of-the-line Mac.
• My dream house, on a good chunk of land on the shores of a lake (or comparable body of water).
• Episode II Star Wars Action Figures.
• Vintage Star Wars Action figures.

People to meet:

• My wife to be.
• as many Star Trek stars as I can: Patrick Stewart, Jonathan Frakes, Marina Sirtis, Brent Spiner, Colm Meaney, Michael Dorn, Wil Wheaton, Bill Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, and many others from the later Star Trek series.
• Whoopi Goldberg.
• Robin Williams.
• Anyone in the Royal Family. I wish I got to meet the Queen Mum.
• Adrienne Clarkson, the Governor General.
• Robert Davidson, Roy Henry Vickers, and other Native NWC artists.
